About Me.

My name is Cyndi Soderlund, and I am a professional freelance flutist residing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I began playing the flute in the fourth grade and fell in love with it immediately, dreaming of making music the center of my life. During my school years, I played in orchestra, stage band, and performed with the Carnegie Mellon University Youth Orchestra.  My beloved flute teacher also regularly held recitals at which I performed.

 While life led me down different paths, music remained a constant presence.  As an adult, I was a member of a band for which I played whichever popular song demanded a flute player. Now, happily in a new chapter of my life, I have the time to make music a more integral part of it once more.

As a freelance musician, I offer my services to bring beautiful flute music to your special occasions. I am available to travel throughout the state to make your events truly memorable.
